You Ruled Egypt with Your Song...

You Ruled Egypt with Your Song…

-for D. and A.

You ruled Egypt with your song
I prayed inside wet caverns

You were the young boy’s first vision
of snow
and I
the voice of cloudbursts.

Would the earth ever know
what it is
to breathe inside
the womb of a miracle?

Wow! Very deep meaning this poem contains...The words glimmer like fireflies in a mysterious dark cave where a myriad secrets are hidden...

If not Earth
But I, do know
what it is
to breathe inside
the womb of a miracle

...without the air strumming the magic!

first learn how to write poetry, and then be possesive about your stuff.

@ anonymous: Why son, are you a poet too? Aren't you getting published? Or did you just lose your girl to a Hollywood stunt man?

As for poetry and imagery, well son, I have learnt it from the world's best teachers. You probably haven't even heard their names, so I will not take the trouble of talking about them.

Moreover, when you comment again, please try not being "anonymous", else I'll be tempted to suspect if you dropped and lost your balls last time you went to the public loo, son, and I think the other readers of my blog will think on the same lines too.

Have a nice, wet day :)

@inam : sigh...the things you have to face from dimwits who are not even man/woman enough to disclose their id! guess this is the price you have to pay for your talent!

@ anonymous: Yes son, it does :) and calling me a ***** may not be looking at your ancestry in a good light ;) Cya, son.

Erm, anon?
No one has forced Inam's poetry down your throat. You are free to wander off and get yourself run over, infact you are more than welcome to do so. Your comments are nothing but juvenile-hangovers. And if you cannot properly criticize literature or art of any kind, please spare us these pathetic personal jibes.

@Anon
Scarily spineless you are.
Do you even know how to read poetry?
And yes, next time try dropping the humility stunt...yes we know you quite avoid the limelight, incredibly famous that you are...
Please grace us with your name next time see?

And Inam
Lovely writing. No one creates images like you do. Beautiful. :)
Ignore the losers here.

thanks for helping the terms 'contemporary' and 'beautiful' come a little closer.
